Eileen Cagle began her career with the Qualitec Family of Independently Owned Companies in August 1994. She initially recruited in a more general Houston market with focus on technical oil and gas professionals. As Qualitec discovered opportunities in vacuum coating technology, Eileen jumped in to expand the areas of specialty to include thin film coating, vacuum engineering, and optics. This specialized and highly technical niche began to grow enabling Qualitec to develop strong client relationships in multiple industries including precision optics, semiconductor, metallurgical coatings, solar, battery, and large area coatings.
Eileen has partnered with multiple teams at Qualitec to assist client companies in identifying professionals for various levels of positions. Recent completed searches include VP of Manufacturing (thin film battery start up), Sr. Director of Product Application (large area coating), Director of Emerging Innovations (LCD), Technical Marketing Manager (semiconductor), Principal Thin Film Engineer (Precision Optics), Senior Process Engineer (lithium ion battery), multiple Senior Staff Scientist/Group Leader and Thin Film Process Engineering positions for large area glass manufacturer; Optical Physicist for Concentrator Photovoltaics manufacturer, R&D Senior Engineers for Equipment Division of Solar Cell Manufacturer; West Coast Sales Manager for Optical Components Manufacturer; Solar Engineering Manager for Vacuum Equipment OEM and Sr. Applications Engineer for semiconductor equipment company.
Eileen is a Certified Placement Consultant (CPC) as designated by the National Association of Personnel Services. She has also achieved “Outstanding Achievement” recognition by the Houston Association of Personnel Consultants for 8 of the last 10 years and Texas Association of Personnel Consultants for 4 of the last 6 years. She has been affiliated with various professional organizations such as Society of Vacuum Coaters, American Vacuum Society, Optical Society of America, and International Society of Optical Engineering. Eileen received a BS degree in Merchandising from Louisiana State University.
